HERE Indoor Radio Mapper is a tool to enable any venue with HERE Indoor Positioning. HERE Indoor Positioning is like GPS but for inside a building, providing accurate location within a few meters.

HERE Indoor Radio Mapper creates radio maps, which are collections of geo-referenced radio data (Wi-Fi and
Bluetooth™
), inside buildings. Wi-Fi access point and Bluetooth beacon signal strengths are leveraged to create this abstract map. The created radio map is consumed by
HERE Mobile SDK

To deploy HERE Indoor Positioning to a venue, there are four basic and one optional step.

1. The venue needs to have either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth beacon (EddystoneTM or iBeacon compliant) infrastructure in place according to the HERE guidelines. Please visit

2. An indoor map of the building is required. There are three different ways this is possible:
2.A) Image-based indoor map: can be imported in the tool in any of the common image formats
2.B) Public HERE Venue Map: HERE has a large database of venue maps for public buildings. Search for the available Public Venue Maps using the search in the app.
2.C) Private HERE Venue Map: please visit

to get the building available as a HERE Venue Map for the applications
